Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using PlanMyDay, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

Description of Service

PlanMyDay is an ADHD-friendly productivity application designed to help freelancers and individuals manage their tasks, capture thoughts, and maintain focus through features including:

  • Task management with daily limits
  • Brain dump for capturing thoughts
  • Focus sessions with pomodoro timer
  • Gamification and achievement system

Account Registration

To use PlanMyDay, you must:

  • Be at least 13 years old
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

You are responsible for notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

Subscription and Payment

Free Plan

Our free plan provides access to basic features at no cost. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the free plan at any time with reasonable notice.

Pro Plan

The Pro plan is a paid subscription billed monthly at $5/month. By subscribing, you authorize us to:

  • Charge your payment method on a recurring basis
  • Continue billing until you cancel your subscription

Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial months, but you retain access to Pro features until the end of your paid period.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service
  • Upload malicious code or viruses
  • Harass or abuse other users
  • Scrape or collect data from the service without permission
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation

Intellectual Property

PlanMyDay and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Jonathan Buckland and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your Content

You retain all rights to the content you create in PlanMyDay (tasks, brain dumps, notes, etc.). By using our service, you grant us a license to store and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

Data and Privacy

Your use of PlanMyDay is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption of sensitive information.

Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service, but we do not guarantee that PlanMyDay will be:

  • Available at all times without interruption
  • Error-free or free from bugs
  • Compatible with all devices or browsers

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service with reasonable notice.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlanMyDay shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the service.

Disclaimer of Warranties

PlanMyDay is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Medical Disclaimer

PlanMyDay is a productivity tool and is not a medical device or treatment for ADHD or any other condition. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions about a medical condition.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Service. You may also terminate your account at any time by deleting it through your account settings.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the service. Your continued use of PlanMyDay after changes constitute acceptance of the modified terms.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where PlanMyDay is operated, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
